The designs of co-1.0 were inspired by our last road trip (Macchina) through Tuscany, where we enjoyed the tranquillity and the serenity of people living there (Zitto). In a first step we chose more simple designs, but bold colours, which should be seen as a slight hint of what will expect you in the near future. At the same time, to further complement the co-1.0, we released two clips! Have a look at them;
Macchina and
Zitto.
We from Rione would consider ourselves as average daily hustlers and therefore money isn’t abundant. Not a problem, but it means our budget is limited. With everything we had we set out to produce our first T-shirts. The goal was to create a T-shirt as sustainable as possible. Visually, the design of the screen print should be fully independent of the environmental premise we set ourselves - all in the spirit of hedonistic sustainability. After tedious research we found a suitable basic T-shirt, which is certified and meets our standards. Our idea considering thickness and weight of the fabric turned out to be quite difficult. Furthermore, 9 out 10 sustainably produced Tee’s had somewhere a tree or a leave embroidered. The refinement of the T-shirt took place exclusively in Zurich. It was embroidered at a factory just around the corner from where we live and refined by ourselves. Dylan, a homie of ours, helped us with the silkscreen printing in his studio.
