Dammi una Mano

With our most recent drop we extended the range of garms. For the collezione 2.0, we set the focus on sustainable sweaters.

As we mentioned before, we want to produce courageous and sustainable fashion; so here we are. The co-2.0 comes along frisky and shrill, using high-quality, vegan, GOTS-, Fairwear Foundation-certified basics. As we see the Rione-journey as a continuous Work-in-Progress, we extended the level of details on our garms and experimented with an eye-catching font on one of the sleeves. The locally embroidered and screen-printed sweaters are slightly, but consciously, over the top: either all black or yellow fabric with prints in the other of the two colours – bringing out contrast. But there’s more to it than just the looks.

“Dammi una mano” – an imperative as a reminder of the lack of solidarity in our society, urging us to look around and give a hand wherever needed. Without being the vice squad – it’s just a reminder.

Still, there is enough room for the joy of life, that’s why we have chosen the bright yellow, obviously inspired by the limoni, which have been traded for centuries in the rioni della Sicilia and spreading nothing but freshness.
